Docker container

Are there any plans to provide this tool as a docker container?

I hadn't been planning on it - I currently run this program on a Raspberry Pi with no containers. I'm not sure at this point that there are benefits that a container would provide to this program, which would make the extra compile-time work worth it. But I'm happy to hear more about your use case.

I'm just managing all my things with containers, so it would be more convenient if I could have everything in one place. But if there are no plans maybe I will just build my own container that is using this script. There are some projects with containers that did what I wanted but they are so old and inactive that they no longer work with the current API. Advantages of containers are for example that you can have automatic updates of the containers and easier monitoring.
