Shiny web app - Classification of weight at birth
This app uses a random forest model to predict birth weight.
According with the WHO there are three classification of birth at weight:
- Underweight : 2500g or less of weight at birth.
- Normal weight: from 2500 to 4000g of weight at birth.
- Macrossomic: Above 4000g of weight at birth.
Many studies shows that your weight at birth is correlated with higher risk of metabolic diseased in adult life.
Accurate prediction can help health systems to act before birth and after, improving health outcomes.
