WATER NOT EFFECTED BY GRAVITY

idk if this is a bug or not but water is not effected by gravity and doesnt travel at a vertical downward angle by itself, should be fixed or atleast looked into. i shouldnt need to pump water DOWN, pumping water UP would make sense to need multiple pumps because, you know, gravity

i got a water train to move from the overworld to the nether so i can fill a tank for my steam engine to power my drill for auto mining ancient debris. Since ancient debris is at such a low depth I decided to have a downward pipeline to have easy access from the train to the steam engines tank down at the needed depth. i have 2 pumps and a steam engine on said train for easy distribution since a hand crank is not enough. the water pumps through the pipeline and stops 7 blocks down at a vertical downward angle.
