I think technically this could be done today outside of the library, converting the YAML to JSON before passing it into the library.
But since the examples at https://github.com/open-feature/flagd/tree/main/config/samples include YAML files, it makes me wonder if FlagdCore could just accept them as is.
Starting points could be looking into the code behind FlagdCore's setConfiguration methods, or trying out YAML files in the tests.
