Describe the bug
You can install new kernel or linux image from chroot, but it will be replaced with casper one.
If You choose that kernel, Your live cd will end up in grub console or initramfs...

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior.
Just install new image in chroot shell and try to build it.
Expected behavior
image will be included and configured in iso file.
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

  • OS Version [e.g. Ubuntu 21.10]
    Ubuntu 24.04
    Cubic Information (please complete the following information):
  • Cubic Version: [e.g. 2021.12.67 from the About dialog, or 2021.12-67-release from dpkg -l]
  • ISO Customizing: [e.g. ubuntu-21.10-desktop-amd64.iso]
  • Download Link: The download link for the ISO you are customizing

Cubic Log:

Cut and paste the log after running cubic --verbose from the command line
