A section about git basics?!

Would that be appropriate?

I'm thinking of basic stuff like:

• git clone
• git pull
• git push
• git commit
• git checkout
• git checkout -b

And add a link to learn git branching :-)

It would be nice and awesome if the examples used this repository and contributing to this repository as examples. Maybe that gets more people into contributing which is what I would love :-)

As my group starts pushing forward into git this is a very likely addition
