Bottom time measured incorrectly

The bottom time specified should be measured from the time you leave the surface until the second you start ascending.

So for example a dive at 40meters for 40 minutes should be 2 minutes traveling down and 38 minutes at bottom to start ascending exactly when your clock measures 40minutes and not 42.
