Default language German, no option to change (MacOS)

Current Behavior

After installing version 0.26.13 with homebrew on MacOS M1 MacAir OS version Sequia 15.2, the default language was German. I couldn't find the option to change language in the settings (I know German).

No mention of languages in config file.

My System Settings's region is USA, keyboard layout US Qwerty. I do have German listed as the 3rd language in "Preferred Languages," but English is very clearly the primary.

Expected Behavior

Default English (preferably, as it is the language of the docs.)

Option to change language.

Also, add instructions on changing languages to the docs.
