Problem

When updating the @solana/spl-token package to the latest patch (!!) release 0.4.11, published 2 days ago at the time of writing, the apps break because it now depends on @solana/zk-sdk, which seems to depend on fs.

Proposed Solution

I think the following things need to happen:

  • Move the latest tag from @solana/spl-token back to 0.4.9
  • Deprecate 0.4.11
  • Publish a major version of @solana/spl-token that introduces the breaking change.
