Problem Description

The deb packages contain unit tests (i.e ecal_test_*). That's very unusual and I'm guessing not intentional?

How to reproduce

  1. Download 6.0 RC1 release. Eg: https://github.com/eclipse-ecal/ecal/releases/download/v6.0.0-rc.1/ecal_6.0.0-noble_amd64.deb
  2. Inspect the files in usr/bin/
  3. Observe many ecal_test_* programs
