Casting Spotify is broken

What happened?

Trying to cast Spotify from the app is not working and SoundCloud is only working via fcast.

Spotify

fcast: Black screen and no audio while playback head in the seeker bar in the app and on the device is moving.

Google Cast: Music plays for a split second before stopping and there's no way to get it to continue.

SoundCloud

fcast: Black screen but music is playing.

Google Cast: Infinite yellow buffering bar.
