Currently, all sources that you enabled show up if they have at least a video matching. There are a few problems with this approach:
Topic-specific sources, like Spotify, will show up even if I don't search for the topic (music/podcast).
On some topics (eg. Tesla FSD videos), Odysee will return totally unrelated videos.
When you search for the name of a creator, it never shows their icon. At best, when you search "Creator Name + channel", it will show the creator's videos.
Proposal
Add flags that enable specific behaviors for sources.
For example,if search contains "music", it should only contain sources that users says is music sources(default: YouTube and Spotify).
The user could say that certain keywords make only certain sources enabled. For example, when searching for "Tesla", I would only want YouTube results.
Like for Google, you could also type source:name (source:YouTube), and only display this source.
In the future, you could have presets for the source selection. Like we know certain topics are only covered on certain platforms. This could be crowd-sourced info.
Adding channel should try to display YT/Odysee/etc. channels logo.
