window.bordered() and menu artifacts

I was just playing around with the following config params:

            window = {
                completion = cmp.config.window.bordered(),
                documentation = cmp.config.window.bordered(),
            },

and when I do that, I frequently get lots of "artifacts" left over from the menus: example --

(artifacts in the lower right).

My environment is iTerm2 --> mosh --> tmux.

I've noticed that if I detach and reattach my tmux session, the artifacts disappear, so it's entirely possible that this is a bad tmux interaction.

Has anyone else experienced this and have some idea how to fix?

FWIW - I don't think it has much to do with the settings for the window...I get strange completion artifacts left around even when I let the window config be default.

I thought I had ruled mosh out, but my bad: mobile-shell/mosh#1281 -- eliminating mosh makes my issues go away. sorry for noise.
