We already have pre-release notes of what features will be in our upcoming release, updated daily. What's missing is tracking for features that are being worked on and/or prioritised for the near future.
This can potentially be resolved in the short-term by pointing to the design proposals and explaining how these represent what is on our horizon.
Long-term these are prioritised by the SIGs in our pre-development unconference; possibly tracked in a github project (this would require the VEP process).
