A customer would like to associate a task with a course resource.
How should this display? I'm still working out the details of what I would want to show.
The customer is ok with this suggestion that I made.
A resource (e.g., book) is tied to a course. Since the task is also associated with the course, I could make the task form display the list of resources for a course. I find that radio buttons are easier to use than drop down menus when there are only a few items to select from, and it seems like an average course wouldn't have a ton of resources. Does that sound about right? Do you think radio buttons would work well?
Tasks display in quite a few places and I would need to change those places so that a resource's title would be part of the task's display name if there is an associated resource. For instance, I'm thinking if a task named "Chapter 1" has a connected resource of "The Hobbit", then the display name would be "The Hobbit: Chapter 1". Does that sound reasonable?
