⚠️ Before posting ⚠️

  • This is a bug, not a question or an enhancement.
  • I've searched for similar issues and didn't find a duplicate.
  • I've written a clear and descriptive title for this issue, not just "Bug" or "Crash".
  • I agree to follow Nextcloud's Code of Conduct.

Steps to reproduce

My Android Client is not auto-uploading any files since ca. Dezember 16.
I checked the other issues and double checked the permissions:
Photos&Videos Permission is granted
Location Permission I can not grant: Nextcloud is not showing up in the "Location Permissions" List.

Note: in the App, when configuring the Upload Folders, it shows the folders with thumbnails, so it seems the Permissions to view/use the files are there.

Client Version 3.30.7
Pixel 4a
Android 13.

Expected behaviour

Photos & Videos are uploaded

Update: If I take a new picture, it will actually be picked up by the auto uploader. But all Pictures between 16 Dez. and today are ignored.

What I changed today:

  • Forced the app to stop and restarted
  • Deactivated and activated the auto upload
  • Revoked and granted the permissions

In the hope, that new pictures now are uploaded again, how can I get the missing ones in the App (and why are they not detected as missing?)

Currently upload is recognized but not started (waiting for upload)... I have activated to upload always, not only on free wlan.... so upload should start immediately as working correctly until mid Dec 2024

Same issue. All permissions granted, Android 14, Nextcloud 3.30.7. No Auto Uploads triggered at all. Not even newer / recent ones.

@jacksbox Could you please confirm if you are using the Google Play version? Additionally, have you ensured that all file access permission have been granted?

Example:

I can't say 100% - both Google Play and F-Droid show the app as installed (but in Settings > App > Nextcloud it states "Installed from Google Play")

All File Access is not granted and also cannot be granted.
