DFaust animations are under the floor (not standing on ground)

I used the Blender SMPL-X addon (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DY2k29Jef94) to get .bvh files out of SMPL-X .npz files. However, I see that animations from the DFaust dataset (part of AMASS) are all under the floor:

Can someone confirm this? Does anyone has a way to visualize the SMPL-H animations to verify that they too are under the floor?
