Times aren't really set correctly with realisticseasons, causing the night -> day animation to not work.
With this plugin there are different times for each day depending on the month, so during the winter night is longer for example.
Adding compatibility is as simple as specifying the time for day/night for each month: https://wiki.realisticseasons.com/calendar/day-and-night-length
