Hey there. Normally when streaming have my display switched to a headless adapter and my main display disabled. My main display is a LG OLED that lacks any advanced power settings. As such it typically disconnects from the GPU when shut off; it's easier to just disable it when not in use, than to attempt some kind of extended display setup. On certain occasions however, I like to play multiplayer with both displays.
My plan was to set the headless adapter as the secondary display, with the TV as primary. Using sunshine to force Moonlight to default to Display 2, so I didn't need to enter the keyboard shortcut to switch displays (easy to do on a phone, not so much on a smart TV). I figured out why that was a bad idea the next time I restarted without both displays enabled and sunshine kicked up a fit.
It's NBD, I just worked around it by switching my headless adapter to Display 1, problem solved, moved on with my life. That being said it would be nice if there was some kind of fallback, or pecking order when it comes to how Sunshine grabs displays. So I could have a slightly more flexible setup.
Thanks for hearing me out! Love the program btw. Best remote streaming software I've ever used!
