Thank you for your interest! Are you cloning on a Windows computer? If so, you can try:

git config core.protectNTFS false

as suggested in https://stackoverflow.com/questions/63727594/github-git-checkout-returns-error-invalid-path-on-windows.

Yes, Windows. I cannot run that command before checking out. Gives "fatal: not in a git directory".
I tried to download and extract the zip of the repo and get this.

Something corrupted there.

On Windows "aux" is a reserved name you cannot use for a file and/or directory name.
So to fix for Windows, is it possible to change the aux directory name?
