[Request] Fork Panorama to Chrome? #273
Comments
While I still use this addon on a daily basis (work), I would recommend the https://vivaldi.com/ Browser with the most advanced tab management for a wide range of users. A port of this addon is very unlikely, because of some essential differences within the APIs. |
Too bad, but thanks for your recommendation. I checked out vivaldi but although it did have a lot of tab management options, it really doesn't support tab groups. Best it could do was to write a session profile of the current tabs and then allow you to restore that session. But it was by no means a real group manager. |
There are tab groups since the beginning, which are can be shown in a second tab row: Even for the mobile version. 😅 |
Not exactly an issue, but this extension is the main reason that I use Firefox browser. Unfortunately, the future of Firefox is a bit unclear - Chrome has taken the lion's share of the market while Firefox is losing market share. I've searched the Chrome store for a tab group manager as good as Panorama, but nothing comes close. And I can't imagine not having this degree of tab groups in my browser. Is there any chance that this can be forked to a Chrome version in the near future?
