अनिच्छन्न् पद्यकारः कदाचिद् विपुलां लिखेत्। यथा -

I have an issue to report about the results for the following input:

धर्म-कामार्थ-प्रवृत्तौ  
कर्मभ्यश् च निवर्तने।  
देव-दत्तः स्वभावो हि  
कारको, देवता उत॥ 

तेन पथ्या-भिन्नान् प्रदर्शयेत्।

Thanks for the report and agreed -- the treatment of Anuṣṭubh is pretty poor in the current version and needs some major work.

Where is a good, clear, description of विपुला, पथ्या etc? I've seen a couple of descriptions here and there but they looked pretty messy and hard to relate to (some of the विपुला forms seemed better than some of the पथ्या forms etc).

As a starter which will yield 98% of the benefit, just notify non-pathyA - generally good versifiers become very cautious when deviating from pathyA.
