recently I went through your code and it was very interesting, and searched for the maker of the original clock and found a new announcement made by the to Handel night mode. so I request you to also make to enable disable night mode and this illumination option behind the Hour and Minute hand.

Feel free to build your own version to your liking. This repo is pretty old and is not actively maintained anymore.
