Switch to markdown? 😉

Higher-level, we could have some linting hints. "h3 shouldn't be more than 128 characters" ... @narrowdesign do you think that would be good in Ed?

@aretecode do you have a suggestion? Putting #, ##, ### to the left of the blocks might be a possibility. But it isn't going to stop people from inputting we᷉͏̉i͢rd̷͖͉̾ stuff.

I like that idea @forresto but that seems like a low priority. To start, maybe instead of Plain/Level 1/2/3 use something like, Paragraph/Headline/Subtitle/Label

Then it isn't about the size or the importance but the intention

I want people to know how to prioritize but if anything is clear it's that to most people, everything is important.

Maybe I'll add the tag name to the dropdown as well:

  • h1 - Main title
  • h2 - Section heading
  • h3 - Subsection heading
  • p - Body text
