This release marks the beginning of plug'n'playness on multiple platforms!

  • Windows (Full support)
  • Linux (amd64 only)
  • MacOS (Full support)

This also deprecates the need to host voices and espeak binaries manually, with the help of a helper repository.

KokoroSharpBinaries automates the builds of all supported espeak-ng binaries, as well as the convertion of all supported voices to ONNX-compatible format, and uploads them as Releases. The source code remains open under MIT for full transparency and educational purposes.

The next major subversion (v.0.5.0) will be focused on better segmentation and improvements on the API.

This release contains the all available voices from https://huggingface.co/hexgrad/Kokoro-82M, (zipped),
.. as well as the necessary files (also zipped) to phonemize via espeak-ng on Windows, without requiring manual installation.

The plan is that these will be automatically grabbed from the github worker and included in the nuget package!
