TransfurOCR: Transferring open chromatin predictions across mammals

The scripts available on this page enable the utilisation of ExplaiNN (Novakovsky et al., 2023) to predict open chromatin regions (OCRs) in species without experimental data and visualise prediction scores.

ExplaiNN adapts neural additive models to answer biological questions.

Here, we use ExplaiNN to predict open chromatin regions as a proxy for functional non-coding elements and transfer these predictions to other species.
