- Understanding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and how it affects open source
- Identify best practices for implementing DEI principles for projects and contributors.
- Collaborate with communities like to Spotlight on possible metrics that can be implemented to improve community health and communication.
- Create more awareness of the impact DEI principles can make if more open-source projects and leaders consider it.
- Initiate DEI Events and education programs.
- Organizing DEI tracks at FOSS conferences and creating a report of it at the end of the year.

Podcast sessions with leading DEI advocates around the world
- Look at what podcasts have covered DEI and what we haven't covered before, and then find the best speakers for that
- Organise workshops for DEI experts to come to discuss with more open source leaders.
- Develop reference guides and resources.
- Highlight DEI practices that can be referenced as industry benchmarks.
- Possibly provide ongoing support for those seeking to adopt
- Offer DEI office hours for people in the field to come and chat about their efforts/needs.
- See if opensource.guides need to be updated.
- Collaborating with organizations championing DEI to create and curate field-tested resources.
- Have a landscape of existing resources for reference.
- Lead discussion around sustaining the DEI in open-source
- Run a focus group/document building break out that identifies what are the vectors in the open source ecosystem where lack of DEI leads to systemic risks
- Understand how we can focus on projects or foundations; that is,
already well-organized groups who have their governance but need a guide
to help them to improve DEI efforts.
- Discussing with folks actively working to implement DEI initiatives
